چکیده

The multiplicity of charged hadrons in the current fragmentation region of both the c.m.s. and the Breit frame of deep inelastic scattering is calculated and compared with the HERA data. The results are in agreeement with Yang’s hypothesis that the efficiency of high energy processes increases at larger momentum transfer. Out-of-plane Qcd Radiation in Dis Events with High Pt Jets

Event shapes were originally defined for e+e− collisions [1, 2, 3], only quite recently their QCD calculation have been extended to Deep Inelastic Scattering (DIS) collisions [4, 5]. Calculations for DIS processes are in principle a simple extension of the e+e− case. Of course just from a pure kinematical point of view one expects some differences: e+e− collisions are characterized by only one ...

Analysis of micro-recuperators in small-sized gas turbines –manufacturing potential of Iran

Heat recuperation is often used to improve the overall cycle efficiency of gas turbines. However, generally in small- scale gas turbines, it has a negative effect on turbine inlet temperature, pressure ratio and pressure drops, and thus decreases the overall cycle efficiency. In this paper, a thermodynamic model is performed to evaluate recovered heat as a function of heat exchanger effecti...

Universal flow-driven conical emission in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions.

The double-peak structure observed in soft-hard hadron correlations is commonly interpreted as a signature for a Mach cone generated by a supersonic jet interacting with the hot and dense medium created in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions. We show that it can also arise due to averaging over many jet events in a transversally expanding background. We find that the jet-induced away-side yi...

The first fermi in a high energy nuclear collision. At very high energies, weak coupling, non–perturbative methods can be used to study classical gluon production in nuclear collisions. One observes in numerical simulations that after an initial " formation " time, the produced partons are on shell, and their subsequent evolution can be studied using transport theory. At the initial formation t...
